WARNING: CHOKING HAZARD - Small parts. Not for children under 3 years.
How to Play:
For the youngest players, open the board and lay out the pond pieces randomly, number- and word-side down. Pieces can overlap and even hang over the side of the board. Each player chooses a frog and a seesaw flipper of the same color. One player at a time flips his frog into the “pond” trying to land on any piece. Collect each piece you land on and add up your pieces at the end of the game – whoever has the most pieces, wins! For a more challenging version, turn pond pieces number- and word-side up on the board. Each player collects 1 piece of each number 1 through 5. The first player to collect all 5 pieces wins! For a super challenge game, keep the pond pieces number- and word-side up. All players together choose a number under 15. Flip frogs, collect pieces and add pieces together. The first player to reach the number wins!
Why families love this game:
Flippity Frogs, like Tiddly Winks, is a hand-eye coordination skill game. It’s great for kids who like some action in their board games! Kids can dive right in to this game without a lot of instruction, but can continue to play for many years by increasing the complexity of play (instructions for all levels are included). The math element is especially terrific for school classrooms and home game nights – it adds a learning component that is flippity fun!
